Daphne Hernandez – President and Board of Directors

 Daphne Hernandez [Mimi] is a dynamic entrepreneur and philanthropist based in Maryland. With over 42 years of experience in real estate, including rehabbing homes and managing properties, Mimi has built a successful career as a full-service beauty salon owner and operator of Salon Tesio for the past 5 years. With a staff of 6 licensed professionals, the salon offers hair coloring, cutting, styling, waxing, esthetician, massage therapy, and nail servicing the community.

In addition to her thriving business ventures, Mimi is also the founder of the Rogers Hair Foundation Inc., a newly established non-profit organization aimed at helping individuals with chronic and severe hair loss. The foundation provides new hair growth technology, workshops on hair care, nutrition, spiritual counseling, and connects clients with the latest advancements in hair restoration.

Mimi is also a passionate animal lover, dedicating her time to rescuing feral cats and assisting in finding them loving homes. With a wealth of experience in business and a heart for giving back, Mimi Hernandez is a true inspiration and a force for positive change and improving the lives of people through health, educational resources, and spiritual guidance.

• Curt Flowers is a dedicated and experienced individual who currently serves as the Treasurer for The Rogers Hair Foundation Inc. With a background in finance and business ownership, Curt brings a unique combination of skills and passion to the organization. In his role as Treasurer, Curt is responsible for managing cash flow, paying and recording bills, maintaining debt records, selecting a bank, and reconciling statements. He is committed to ensuring that the organization’s financial affairs are managed in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• In addition to his role at The Rogers Hair Foundation Inc, Curt has a successful business called ‘’Lovey’’ his cleaning operations business with a staffing of 9 which he devoted a long-term passion. He has a keen interest in law research and is passionate about finding new and innovative ways to support the foundation’s mission of improving the lives of those affected by hair loss. With his commitment to finance and his drive to make a difference, Curt is a valuable asset to The Rogers Hair Foundation Inc.
• Outside of work, Curt enjoys saltwater fishing, traveling to Africa, spending time with his family, and pursuing his passion for international trading. With his love for adventure and his commitment to helping others, Curt is a driven and compassionate individual who is dedicated to making a positive impact in the world.

Melvin Davison – Secretary and Board of Director

• Melvin Davison is a driven and compassionate individual who currently serves as a board member and Secretary for the Rogers Hair Foundation Inc. With a diverse background in business and community outreach, Melvin brings a wealth of experience and passion to the organization. As Secretary, Melvin manages all internal communications and ensures that all activities align with the organization’s goals and values. He is also responsible for documenting all documents, correspondence, and communication in compliance with IRS regulations.
• In addition to his role at the Rogers Hair Foundation Inc, Melvin is also a successful business owner, having run an independent trucking company for 18 years. He has contracted with companies such as Tessa and Maserati and has also worked with independent contractors. In 2020, Melvin created a school for returning citizens, providing them with educational programs and job opportunities in the field of CDL training. He is also a licensed mold inspector and a class CDL holder. With experience managing a multi-chain restaurant, Melvin brings a diverse set of skills to the foundation.
• As a man who frequently visits the barber, Melvin has witnessed many of his peers experiencing hair loss at an early age. This experience, combined with his passion for helping others, drives Melvin to support the Rogers Hair Foundation Inc’s mission of improving the lives of those affected by hair loss. In his spare time, Melvin enjoys camping and spending time with his children, and is dedicated to creating new ideas to help save the planet.
